Our story began long before the Coco Bistro name. Since November 2007, we have welcomed guests with flavorful food, warm hospitality, and a passion for bringing people together around the table.
In November 2007, we opened our doors as Café Havana Bar & Grill, introducing Smithtown and the surrounding Long Island community to our interpretation of Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Latin cuisine.
From flavorful traditional dishes and fresh seafood to handcrafted cocktails and lively evenings, our goal was to create a welcoming neighborhood restaurant where guests could enjoy great food, good company, and memorable experiences.
In July 2022, Café Havana Bar & Grill was rebranded as Coco Bistro Kitchen & Lounge. Although our name changed, we remained under the same ownership, carrying forward the traditions, hospitality, and commitment to quality that shaped our restaurant from the beginning.
Our evolution also allowed us to broaden the dining experience, bringing together our established Cuban and Puerto Rican favorites with steaks, fresh seafood, American classics, and a wider selection of dishes for today's guests.
